Jeff and Emily tied the knot!

Rygh and I left Friday morning to go to Lubbock for the wedding of Rygh's good friend Jeff to Emily. Emily and Jeff got married at the super cool Windmill Museum in Lubbock. The museum shows the history of the progression of windmills. The museum had a huge mural of the history of the windmills. It was huge and beautiful!

The rehearsal dinner was at Cagle's Steakhouse. Jeff loves Tabasco sauce! They had a Tabasco bottle shaped cake! All the tables were decorated with different peppers and the gift was a little bitty Tabasco bottle! The food was great too! We had steaks!

The boys played golf Saturday morning and I went to a bridal breakfast for emily. Each guest at the breakfast brought a silver charm for Emily's charm bracelet! It was super cool to hear what each charm meant to Emily and the giver's relationship!

Finally, the wedding was Saturday night! They had a beautiful cotton rustic design! The boutonnières were made of a cotton ball and a pheasant feather. The girls carried lanterns...seeMatthew 25. Emily's mom made her dress out of white linen... See revelation. Everything about their wedding had symbolism. It was very cool! Here are a few pictures from our weekend! We had a great time! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Cake and Finn...

Hello!

This weekend we went to Kerrville to see my mom and do a little shopping in Fredericksburg. We also went to Brady to celebrate Rygh's dads 60th birthday!!
Mikkie and Rygh's mom planned a surprise party for him. He was pretty darn surprised! We had some yummy Mexican food, caught up with family and friends, and held little miss Gracen!

We went back to Kerrville Saturday night. My mom made us a yummy breakfast which included carrot cake and scrambled eggs for me! We left buster in Kerrville for a little vacay at grandma's! On our way back to stephenville, we stopped in San Saba to have some BBQ! We got it to go and sat on the tailgate and enjoyed lunch on this beautiful day!

Also, a little boy at church, Finn, has been drawing me pictures! I think Rygh should be a bit jealous! Here is my collection so far!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I just love wreaths...

I have been on a bit of a wreath kick since last year. I have a few :). Today while watching the TCU game, I made a fall wreath. I also made some Christmas ornaments out of my scrabble letters I got at Warrenton last weekend!

We got to spend some time with my grandma and my mom today! My mom brought us some Christmas ornaments, homemade jelly and the best spaghetti sauce ever made by my mom! We enjoyed some Hard 8 BBQ and showed them our home in the ville! We had a great time!

It is 50 degrees here in stephenville! It's really starting to feel like fall! Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Rygh and I are enjoying some beans and ham and yummy cornbread!

Happy fall!

Our TV trays

Love them!

My warrenton stash!

Last weekend was our annual girls trip to Warrenton, Texas for some antique shopping! Mandie, Mollie, Doniene, and newbie this year Whitney and me headed to Warrenton for a serious weekend of shopping! We stayed at the cutest farmhouse in Schulenberg, Texas! Check them out at http://www.mimisbedandbreakfast.com/.We stayed at Ludvik's Place and it was great! We braved three days of rain this year! We got a little muddy but survived! Now because it rained for the three days we were there, didn't take any pictures! Here is a look at the things I brought home!

1. Mason jar filled with fall scented potpourri! It smells divine!

2. Burlap table runner for the holidays

3. Rygh's mom embroidered our stockings and I got them back from her this past weekend

4. Metal colored flowers. I am going to add clips to them and use them as Christmas ornaments!

5. A sack of scrabble letters to make Christmas ornaments with!

6. Tin cross ornament and a tin house ornament

7. Velvet Christmas pillows!

8. Everything is sitting on a beautiful velvet patch work tree skirt! If you can't tell I was all about Christmas this year at Warrenton because Christmas is going to be at our house in Stephenville!

9. Not included in the picture are two round platter dishes that I am going to use as "tv trays". On one unfortunate night for Rygh his tacos slide off his plate and unto the floor..... Perfect for Buster but not so hot for a hungry Rygh. I bought these so we could set our plates on them when we have dinner while watching NCIS!

10. I bought a green ceramic bowl that is a perfect rice making bowl! As evidence by dinner tonight! Made a yummy chicken and rice casserole! Check out the recipe here!
