Mini accomplishment!

So lately I have been working in Pre-op getting people ready for surgery... Consents, vitals, and starting iv's! My previous two years of nursing I didn't start too many iv's because I didn't feel too confident! Well today, I put my first 18 gauge iv in successfully the first time! Some days are good and some days are bad with iv starts but today was a good day and I'm celebrating my mini accomplishment! Remember it's the small things that matter!
