So Rygh and I have been married for three weeks now! We have been busy getting our farm house in order! We went to Sydnee and Levi's wedding last weekend at the Happy H Ranch in Comfort, Texas and had a great time! This week we are back in the ville. Rygh is working and I am working as a wife. My new job starts in two weeks so I have a little time to make our house feel like a home, make three meals a day, and enjoy a little time with my husband. Its still a little weird to call Rygh my husband but I am getting more and more used to it and am loving it!
Here is a little look into our life!
Here is a picture of our house and back yard! My grandmother passed away in November. As a way to remember her, I wanted a bird bath. Grandma always had water in her bird bath and food in her feeders no matter what the weather was like. I have great memories of watching the birds as we wash dishes.
Here are a few of our special wedding gifts! First off is an entertainment center made by Rygh's parents. I bought the tin and door handles in Canton this year for this piece! It looks great! We are really lucky to have someone who makes beautiful furniture in our family!
Another special gift is this metal sign made by the McBeth's. Ever since Rygh's sister Mandie got married and the McBeth's gave them a metal sign, I have been waiting to get one! I love ours and want to say a big THANK YOU to Dennis, Audine, and Roy for this beauiful sign!
Last but not least I will leave you with a few wedding pictures! We had the best day! We are so thankful to have such great people in our lives to make this day the best!
Maybe you are thinking, why in the world did she name the blog band aids and tractors??? I figured most people think of nurses as just putting on band aids and farmers on tractors. Hopefully, this blog will give you a deeper look into a nurse's and farmer's life together. Have a great day! I am off to make tamale pie for my husband!

ReplyDeleteHow so very fun!!!! Sometimes it is a little "different" when we think about ya'll being "married" now!! But so good! The "white" house looks amazing. Such special memories of your Grandmother! The TV cabinet looks "right smart" if I do say so myself!!
